By now, most of you have heard about Republican politician Christopher von Keyserling’s assault on a woman in Greenwich, CT.
For those who don’t know the story, Keyserling was unaware that there were security cameras in the hallway of the building where he grabbed a woman’s genitals after an argument, saying that he was happy that he no longer has to be politically correct, and there was nothing she could do about it, because it would be her word against his.
Well, now his attorney has the gall to call his client's assault on a woman "a playful gesture."
Please let Attorney Phillip Russell know that statements like this, which perpetuate rape culture, are unacceptable.

Dear Attorney Russell,There is NEVER a time where grabbing a woman's groin from behind without her consent is "playful." What a reprehensible thing to say. Your remarks perpetuate a culture that allows rape and assault to continue, unchecked. Shame on you.Sincerely,
